Global Distribution System (GDS) - Motor City Travel is fully automated with the "Worldspan" reservation system, a comprehensive global travel database which stores more than 200 million fares including web fares, published fares and negotiated fares.  

Web fares – we can access, book, track and change web fares as needed. 

Worldspan also maintains an inventory of more than 300 car rental options, at over 21,000 participating car rental locations, and hotel availability at more than 54,000 properties worldwide, with real-time connectivity directly through the hotel company’s internal reservation systems.

Screen Highlighter and ResMarker – These point-of-sale highlighting tools enable us to create colorful, customized highlights on a travel counselors workstation, drawing their attention to information critical to the reservation process, such as VIP status, travel policy, preferred suppliers, contract terms, etc.

On-line Booking System “RESX” - A user-friendly, "managed" internet booking engine that can be deployed anywhere around the world.  RESX, a TRX product allows travelers to utilize a real-time booking process to reserve their own policy-compliant air, car and hotel reservations at any time and from anywhere they have Internet access, providing travelers with quick response times and immediate information to make decisions.

Quality Assurance - CompuTraqs, Motor City Travel’s mid-office automated third party travel reservation accuracy and quality system audits all records for the lowest fare and provides lowest fare availability within client specific parameters.  CompuTraqs identifies customer savings opportunities by searching airline inventory 24/7 for lower priced itineraries, up until the time of departure.  CompuTraqs also verifies the accuracy and continuity of each component of the reservation tailored to both company and individual parameters, including seat and meal preferences, car and hotel confirmations, seat assignments and ticketing dates.

E-Ticket Tracker – Identifies unused E-tickets for application toward new tickets.

 
Contract Analysis Tool - Provides analysis reports which enable the user to analyze and compare various scenarios prior to implementing a strategy or final contract.

ResMAIL - An E-mail response to an individual reservation request, including all routing and pricing options in a user friendly, easy-to-read format. 

Corporate Travel Policy Monitor - This travel policy software program allows us to strictly monitor a corporate client’s daily travel records to ensure adherence of policy requirements and restrictions.

Profile Management – Travelers can instantly maintain and update their profile online.  Profile changes are automatically integrated into the reservation system.
